Richard Branson’s Virgin Atlantic is widely known as the airline that changed the face of air travel the world over. There were in-flight movies, masseurs and meditation programmes to beat the boredom that comes as a given with long-distance hauls. Now, the ever innovative London-based Virgin has come out with a new plan to beat flying blues: it plans to introduce the world’s first inflight texting service that is going to allow passengers to have any kind of questions that they may have in mind answered on any topic at 35,000 feet above sea level! This is part of the global scramble to rise above the clutter in the aviation sector, and be a pick-me-up!
